Hi, I’m Lis, the creator of this website and community.
For a while I have been looking for a way to help other writers, especially freelancers find a way to build their income and create walth for themselves and their families. When we say, “I’m a writer.”, people don’t usually think of someone who consistently works at creating compelling content for seach engines and using writing to earn passive income through affiliate products.
A lot of jargon there. Basically, I guide other writers to break the mindset of traditionally writing and publishing which VERY few earn enough income from the live from, much less build wealth for their families.
A 2014 survey of 9,200 authors from Digital Book World / Writer’s Digest said:
- 54% of traditionally-published authors made less than $1000 that year
- 77% of self-published authors made less than $1000 that year
- 90% of authors reported they made no money that year
It is essential to get good at writing, and to to be great at making sure others find and share your writing. You can learn that here with me, or you can keep following the traditional model.
WHY I WANT TO HELP WRITERS
I did not get the guidance I needed to be successful as a writer from my high school guidance counselor. No offense Mr. Whelden, you were nice, but an English Literature degree was not the best option for me.
I ended up as an English teacher caught in the low wage game in Florida, never quite making enough to fulfill my desire to teach my family about the new economy online and to travel to see family and friends whenever I wanted. I now have a clear track to share with anyone how they can earn a consistent income online through purchasing performing websites (yes, I can connected you with investment capital), or through building your own website (a lot easier now than 10 years ago).
THE GOAL OF YOUR SITE
1) Connect with other writers.
2) Lead the community on building streams of income from the skill of writing.
3) Connect those in the community with my investment partners to earn 10-12% income on their cash flow.
If you ever need a hand or have ay questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
